Tamera McLaughlin, a Washington DC based influencer turned model, made headlines when she was recently announced as Rihanna’s latest Savage x Fenty model and the inclusive brand’s first little person ambassador.

Originally known for her comic sketches and dance videos, McLaughlin, who revealed she’d wanted to work with the brand since its 2018 launch, said the lingerie label reached out to her after spotting one of her viral posts online. After making her debut for the brand on Instagram last month, McLaughlin was inundated with support for breaking boundaries and has since been featured in Paper, Fazed, Vogue and WWD.
